The Old Man and The Sea

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'The clouds were building up now for the trade wind and he looked ahead and saw a flight of wild ducks etching themselves against the sky over the water, then blurring, then etching again and he knew no man was ever alone on the sea.'
The Old Man and The Sea by Ernest Hemingway was first published on this day, the 8th September, in 1952.  The above excerpt is one of my favourite lines from the book, one that considers man versus nature.
In Infinite Time
Lazy Sunny Afternoon by Jo Bradford
"In infinite time,
in infinite matter,
in infinite space,
is formed a bubble-organism,
and that bubble lasts a while and bursts,
and that bubble is Me."
~Leo Tolstoy~
{from Anna Karenina}
I have had a very busy week this week, making lots of new pretty things in my studio, and processing photos from the many photoshoots I've done recently. Far and away my favourite photo outing this week was a twilight shoot with Megan and Steph on their horses.... photos to follow shortly......
