The Blizzard by Jo Bradford
The UK is uncharacteristically snowy right now, and we live in a very remote part of Cornwall. Our farmhouse is only accessible by travelling up and down some steep lanes and valleys, so we are pretty much snowed in now, the icy roads have enforced a few stay-at-home days as even the 4x4 is struggling to get up the hills when the roads are sheet ice and haven't been gritted at all.
I don't mind taking "snowdays" too much though, as the cupboards are still full of food and chocolate from christmas and the rayburn in the kitchen makes the whole house cosy, these days the log fire in the lounge is my new best friend.

oh...enjoy them.
love the square - beautiful landscape
this one in specific is beautiful. I cannot express how amazing it is honestly!
I just love polaroids, I always wished I could take pretty pictures but I guess it's a talent and patience thing isn't it?
Your blog is wonderful
Thank you Char :)
Auntie Sondos -nice to meet you .... thanks for dropping by :)
Yes patience is a big part of it - and spending all my money on cameras rather than new clothes and other nice things can sometimes be a big sacrifice... but it's worth it!
wow this is fantastic shot!!!
I love your pictures!
I wish I had a polaroid camera.
I'm a photography student and I love film and it makes me really happy to see someone using different cameras other than digital. =]
Another great picture - as always...I love it!
Such a wonderful photo, Jo!!! I just love it!
Gorgeous photo! Snow days ARE nice (as long as you don't have to get to the airport). I really used to hate winter but I am starting to appreciate the quiet days it gives me that I can just enjoy being inside, curled up with a book and nowhere to go. And since we got snowshoes for Christmas, I'm starting to enjoy the sunny but cold winter days when it's a pleasure just to be out of doors.
I am really in awe of your winter photography, as my fingers can't take much of the cold and I get impatient. You're so dedicated!
catching up on my blog reading, and have to tell you how much I love this image, Jo!!
