The photo is lovely as well. I like that you made the bold stripes seem almost...vintage, and not so shocking.
I'm only beginning to try photography, and I was wondering if you could enlighten me on what you think of non-SLR digital cameras. I'm taking my first photo class (on documentary photography), and I recently bought a canon powershot sx120. I was definitely drooling after the Nikon d series though...if only they were more within my price range!
